This Fan Page leaves me with more questions than answers.
First of all, (since I did NOT become a Fan) I didn't find any representation on their Info Tab. Do I have to become a Fan to see who's responsible for starting this Fan Page?
Secondly, I am not against adoption, but I am for a well-informed family situation. The Comments that people have posted on the Wall of this FB Page seem very starry-eyed and idealistic. I'm all for being grateful about families formed by adoption...but there were only a few that even alluded to the challenges that an adoptee may face.
I'm an adult adoptee who's also the mother of a seven-year-old boy and the wife of an academic. I was formerly a wilderness guide and am currently an English professor. Originally hailing from the west coast, I now live in the east and am working to embrace my new environs while I try to figure out how to be a good parent without ignoring my need to write.

Must think about this and investigate further.
Ewwww! I was startled to read a post about a troublesome birthmother? And to find out that adoptive parents use the term "gotcha day"?
